How to Request a Quote for a Processing Line: What Information to Prepare

Which form to use to quote a line, a single machine or a represented brand, what information to prepare and what happens after you send it.

A well-prepared quote request saves a lot of back-and-forth. Albion builds every line to order, with the modules your case calls for, so the proposal depends on what you tell us up front: what you process, the condition it arrives in, how much volume you handle, when you need the line and what your plant looks like. The more detail you provide, the more accurate the quote.

This guide covers the ways to request one, what information to have on hand and what happens after you send the form.

Ways to request a quote

There’s a different form depending on what you want quoted. All three quote forms open with the line, the machine or the brand already filled in, so you don’t have to type it.

Quoting a line

This is the most direct route once you’ve chosen a model. On the line page, the Request a Quote button opens that model’s form, with a summary alongside it: model, throughput and product. For example, the PUA 300 L, Albion’s compact raisin washing and finishing line, is quoted at /en/contact/quote-line/pua-300-l.

The form asks for:

  • Full Name and Email, the only two required fields.
  • Company and Phone.
  • Country and, if you select Argentina, Province.
  • Product and Model, which come already filled in.
  • Message (optional): the space to describe your project.

Quoting a single piece of equipment

Albion also builds equipment sold as standalone units, either to add to an existing line or to run on its own: the VB 500 hydraulic bin tipper, elevators, the inspection conveyor and the PES 25 weigher-bagger for nuts. In the equipment catalog, each one has its own Inquire button; for example, the VB 500 bin tipper form. The contact fields are the same, and instead of the product, the form comes with the equipment’s function and Model filled in. In your message, say whether the machine will be integrated into an existing line or run on its own, and how many units you need.

Asking about a represented brand

Albion distributes five brands in Argentina that it does not manufacture: Simon (France), Visys (Turkey), C-Pack (Germany), Newtec (Denmark) and Taiho (China). On each brand’s page, the Request more information button opens a form with the Brand field already filled in; for example, the one for Visys. In your message, tell us which machine you’re looking for, what product you’ll process, what capacity you need and whether you have a specific model in mind.

General form, phone and email

If you’re not sure yet which model fits, write to us from the contact page. It asks for the same contact details, plus a Product drop-down listing the ten products Albion lines process and a Message, which is required on this form. You can also call +54 261 432-6200 or email albion@albion.com.ar.

What information to prepare before you write

On the quote forms the message is optional, but it’s what shapes the proposal. Use this checklist to put it together:

  • What you process and how many sizes you sell it in. The number of sizes determines the machine: among Albion’s CR walnut sizers, the 5T sorts into 5 sizes and the 6T into 6.
  • What condition your raw material arrives in. Raisins in clusters or loose, walnuts with husk or in-shell, almonds calibrated or not: that determines which stage the line starts with.
  • How much volume you handle. In kg/h, tons per day or per season, plus how many hours a day the line would run: that’s what sets the model’s capacity.
  • When you need the line up and running. It’s one of the details the line quote form suggests you include.
  • Whether it’s for a new plant or replaces existing equipment. If you already have equipment, tell us what it is: some lines and machines are designed to integrate with what’s already running.
  • How you load product today. Bins, a silo, an elevated hopper or your own conveyor: the AP 700 walnut line, for example, comes in a version without bin tipper for plants that already load that way.
  • Which market you’re targeting. Domestic or export: Albion’s pre-sales advice sizes the line by product, capacity and target market.
  • How you pack. Bags, bins, big bags or sacks: it changes the end of the line, like the lateral outlets to bags on the CR 1000 6T versus central discharge into bins on the CR 1000 6T BC.
  • Your building dimensions. The length and width available, so the line fits your site without surprises.
  • Your plant’s utilities. Available electrical power (kVA), type of electrical setup, and water pressure and flow: each model has its own power and water requirements.
  • Whether you plan to finance through Banco Nación. Bring up your case when you request the quote: Albion issues the documentation so you can submit the quote under the program that applies to you.

A sample message

You can copy this outline and fill in the brackets:

We process [product], which arrives [in clusters, with husk, in-shell…]. We expect [volume] per season, running [hours] a day. We sell in [number] sizes, in [bags, bins, big bags], for the [domestic or export] market. It’s for [a new plant or to replace existing equipment] and we need it running by [date]. Our building has [length × width] available, [kVA] of power and [pressure and flow] of water. We plan to finance through Banco Nación.

What happens after you send it

  1. Confirmation. After an anti-spam check, the form takes you to a confirmation page. If the submission can’t be confirmed, your details stay filled in and you can try again or send your request via WhatsApp.
  2. A sized proposal. Based on your information, Albion sends you a proposal with the modules your case calls for and its budget. If needed, it adds equipment from the catalog or integration with a represented brand, which is part of the service.
  3. Financing. If it applies, options linked to Banco Nación credit lines are reviewed.
  4. Delivery and service. The line is pre-assembled and concatenated in the workshop before dispatch and arrives ready to assemble on-site. Albion offers installation and commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, and original parts through the spare parts catalog.

Financing, warranty and support

Albion is a family company from Mendoza, Argentina, founded on April 20, 1966, by Atilio César Dal Pozzo, with more than 50 in-house experts. What to know before you decide:

  • Banco Nación financing: many customers finance through Argentina’s Banco Nación credit lines for domestic industrial machinery. You handle the application with the bank; Albion issues the necessary documentation.
  • 12-month warranty on mechanical parts of Albion’s own manufacture. It doesn’t cover consumables or damage caused by improper maintenance. Represented brands are not Albion-made: ask about their terms when you request a quote.
  • Support and reach: Albion equipment operates in 18 countries on 6 continents. After-sales technical support is concentrated in Latin America, but equipment ships to any market in the world. If your plant is outside Argentina, select your country on the form.

Before you request a quote: pick a model with our guides

If you’d like to reach the form with a model already in mind, each product has a guide covering the process stages, the models and how to size by volume: raisins, prunes, walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts, dried tomatoes, carrots, garlic, onions and potatoes.

Once you’ve picked a model, the Request a Quote button on its page takes you straight to the form. If you’re torn between two options, say so in your message: the proposal is built around your case.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to know which model I want before requesting a quote?
No. If you've already chosen one, use the Request a Quote button on that line's page: the form opens with the product and model filled in. If you haven't, write to us from the contact page, pick your product and tell us your volume, the condition your raw material arrives in and your target market. Sizing the line by product, capacity and target market is part of Albion's pre-sales technical advice.
Which fields are required on the form?
Only your full name and email. Company, phone, country and message are optional on the quote forms; on the general contact form, the message is required. Filling in the message is still worth it: the more detail you provide, the more accurate the quote.
What information about my plant should I have on hand?
The length and width of the space available in your building, your available electrical power (kVA) and type of electrical setup, and your water pressure and flow. Each model has its own space, power and water requirements, and since lines are built to order, that information lets us size the line to fit your site without surprises.
Can I get a quote for a single machine or for a represented brand?
Yes. Individual equipment, such as the VB 500 bin tipper or the PES 25 weigher-bagger, is quoted from the Inquire button in the equipment catalog. Represented brands (Simon, Visys, C-Pack, Newtec and Taiho) are quoted from the Request more information button on each brand's page. Those brands are not Albion-made: Albion distributes them in Argentina.
What do I get after I send my request?
Based on your operating data, Albion sends you a sized proposal: a line built with the modules your case calls for, along with its budget. If it applies, financing options through Banco Nación credit lines are reviewed as well.
Is financing available, and what warranty do the lines carry?
Many customers finance the purchase through Argentina's Banco Nación credit lines for domestic industrial machinery: you handle the application with the bank and Albion issues the necessary documentation. Lines carry a 12-month warranty on mechanical parts of Albion's own manufacture, which doesn't cover consumables or damage caused by improper maintenance.
