Visys

Country of origin: Turkey

Visys is a Turkish manufacturer of optical food sorting machines, founded in 2004 in Istanbul, where it is headquartered. Its main focus is the food industry, and within it the dried fruit and nut markets.

Its machines combine laser scanning, X-ray, and RGB, NIR, SWIR, and hyperspectral sensors. Depending on the model, they sort by color, detect foreign materials by their structure even when they are the same color as the product, or find glass, stones, stainless steel, ceramic, and metal even inside the product (VIREX series, using X-ray). They handle both dry and wet products.

Albion represents and distributes the full Visys line in Argentina; it does not manufacture these machines. It integrates them as a sorting module on its raisin, prune, and walnut lines.

Sectors and applications

  • Food industry
  • Dried fruits
  • Nuts

Integrates with our raisin, prune and walnut lines

Visys applies where quality standards go beyond what a human eye or RGB camera can catch. It's the final module that shields the exporter from claims.

Raisins

On washing lines, Visys detects stones and mineral matter that raisins carry over from sun-drying — the most recurring physical contaminant in premium raisins. Inserted as the final sorting module before packing.

Prunes

After pitting, Visys identifies residual pit fragments inside the flesh — a critical defect human inspection cannot reliably catch at industrial speed. Essential for export markets where a single fragment can trigger claims.

Walnuts

On cracking and sorting lines, Visys complements the Taiho sorter with X-ray and hyperspectral scanning — detecting shell fragments, glass, or metal that color cameras alone cannot see. It's the final module that protects exporters against claims.
