- Steady, safe feeding: the process starts with the Hydraulic Bin Tipper, sized to sustain continuous 2,000 kg/h flow without waits. A Bucket Elevator then carries the walnut to the parallel sizer set.
- High-precision classification at industrial scale: the walnut enters the heart of the line — a set of Multiple Ø1000 Rotary Drum Sizers arranged in parallel, each with a perforated cylinder divided into sectors with plates of varying diameters (typically Ø30, Ø32, Ø34, Ø34, Ø36 mm + end) classifying into 6 commercial sizes (5 lateral + 1 end). Extraction and blending belts beneath each cylinder collect the sizes in parallel for bag filling or diversion to bins.
Construction and sanitary philosophy:
Frames and structures in SAE 1010 mild steel with anticorrosive primer and polyurethane enamel finish. Precision-machined perforated cylinders, mounted on self-aligning bearings. Extraction and blending belts in stainless steel with sanitary polish and polyester-with-PVC belting. Drives with oil-bath gearmotors and fully shielded three-phase motors.
