Clean Almond Cracking: Maximized Kernel at 350 kg/h

Maximize your kernel value: the integral solution for efficient, profitable almond cracking.

The ALP 300 is the almond-tuned version of our mechanical-cracking architecture — same ruggedness and same capacity as the walnut AP 300, but with the cracker assembly calibrated for the hard almond shell. 300–350 kg/h, designed for processors and producers industrializing their own harvest.

9 integrated machines, from whole almond to classified kernel:

  • Precise feeding and cracking: the line starts with an Elevator that smoothly and continuously feeds the ALP 300 Mechanical Cracker (inverted cone). This machine, the heart of the system, is built with an inverted-cone cracker assembly — coated aluminum-cast exterior and a mechanically height-adjustable inner cone in abrasive sheet — that applies the exact pressure on the almond shell: firm with the hard shell, gentle with the kernel.
  • First separation stage: immediately after cracking, a Separating Screen with stainless-steel perforated mesh and a powerful Vacuum Aspirator perform the first major cleaning, separating a high percentage of the broken shell from the kernel.
  • Deep aspiration cleaning: a second Elevator takes the pre-separated mix to a Mega Aspirator, a high-efficiency suction system that removes nearly all remaining shell and light particles, leaving the kernel clean and ready for inspection.
  • Final quality control: the product advances over a wide Inspection Conveyor where operators perform final quality control, removing any remaining impurities, darkened almonds, or defective fragments.
  • Kernel sizing: to finish, an Elevator transports the clean kernel to a Sizer that classifies it by size into its commercial categories — whole halves and smaller fractions (quarters and pieces) — leaving it ready for packaging.

Construction and sanitary philosophy:

Frames and structures in SAE 1010 mild steel with anticorrosive primer and polyurethane enamel finish. Meshes and screens in product contact in AISI 304 stainless steel with sanitary polish. Cracking cone with precise mechanical adjustment for each almond size grade (Nonpareil, Guara, Soleta, and similar). Drives with oil-bath gearmotors and fully shielded three-phase motors.

Albion technology benefits:

  • Halves maximization: the integral design protects the kernel at every stage, maximizing the percentage of whole almond — and therefore profitability.
  • Compatible with regional varieties: mechanical calibration adjusts to the shell diameter of Nonpareil, Guara, Soleta, and similar.
  • Accessible investment: entry point to industrial cracking for mid-size producers.
  • Same proven architecture as the AP 300: the best-selling cracking line in the Albion catalog, tuned for almond.
  • Pre-assembled and concatenated in our workshop before dispatch — the line arrives ready to install on-site.
  • 12-month warranty on mechanical parts of our manufacture.

The ALP 300 is not just a cracker: it's a complete system that transforms your whole almond into a high-quality finished product, ready for commercialization.
